300 kph / 186 mph

In order to reach the speed shown in the clip a downhill streath is necessary. Because the CSi engine's power peak is at 5300 rpm (260kph/160mph) and engine power drops after that, it is impossible to go beyond 290kph / 180mph on a level surface, as can be seen in the video.

The speed of 303kph / 188mph equals 84m/sec or 92yards/sec, that's Mach 0.25 - one quarter the speed of sound. At that speed 5.05 kilometers (3.14 miles) are covered per minute. The stopping distance would be about 350m / 380 yards and means that after over 310 meters / 340 yards of emergency braking the car still has a velocity of over 100 kph / 62 mph. Those speeds should therefore only be driven on really empty stretches of Autobahn.

The instataneous fuel consumption at that speed is 41 l/100km, that's 6.9 mpg (UK) or 5.7 mpg (US).
41 l/100km @ 300 kph = 2.07 l/min = 29 sec/l
41 l/100km @ 300 kph = 6.9 mpg (UK) = 0.46 gal/min = 131 sec/gal
41 l/100km @ 300 kph = 5.7 mpg (US) = 0.55 gal/min = 110 sec/gal
